The Role: Audit Senior The Audit Senior will step into a role that is fully focused on audit. They will take the lead on engagements from planning through to completion. Responsibilities include attending client meetings, coaching junior team members, and contributing ideas to help shape the audit function. There is no micromanagement and no excessive bureaucracy — just meaningful audit work carried out with autonomy and trust. Clients & Variety This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients, including FCA-regulated entities and larger, complex corporate groups. The variety ensures ongoing professional growth and development of a broad skill set. For those interested, there may also be opportunities to participate in corporate finance projects. The Audit Senior will be able to maintain technical excellence while exploring new areas. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will: Be ACA or ACCA qualified with strong post-qualification experience Have led audits and possess in-depth knowledge of FRS 102, UK GAAP, and audit standards Be confident in client interactions and skilled at building long-term relationships Have experience mentoring or supervising junior team members Take pride in delivering high-quality work within a team that shares those values Additional experience with FCA audits or group audits would be advantageous. Technology & Tools The firm utilizes CCH, Xero, SAGE, ProAudit, and other cloud-based tools. Strong Excel skills are valued. Emphasis is placed on effective tech adoption, enabling efficient workflows and minimizing outdated manual processes.
