Job Title: Senior Events Manager Location: Surrey Venue: Golf Club & Events Venue Salary: £38,000 - £46,000 (depending on experience) commission & service charge About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and driven Senior Events Manager to join the team at one of Surrey’s most popular golf clubs. This venue hosts a wide range of events—from corporate away days and private functions to beautiful weddings and seasonal celebrations. This is a key role for an experienced events professional who thrives on delivering outstanding experiences from start to finish, while also bringing a strong sales focus to drive new business and hit sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of event delivery from enquiry through to execution, ensuring a seamless 360° client experience. Proactively generate and convert new business leads, with a strong emphasis on corporate events and weddings. Conduct site visits, client meetings, and tastings with professionalism and attention to detail. Work closely with the operations, F&B, and marketing teams to ensure smooth communication and flawless delivery. Prepare detailed proposals, costings, and contracts, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction. Build long-term relationships with clients and local partners to support repeat business and referrals. Stay up to date with industry trends to ensure our offerings remain competitive and appealing. Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven experience in a similar events role within a venue, hotel, or private members’ club setting. Strong sales background with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets. End-to-end event management experience, from planning and logistics to on-the-day coordination and post-event follow-up. Knowledge of the wedding and corporate events market in Surrey and surrounding areas is highly desirable. Please apply to discuss this role in full.
