Tanker Driver – Lerwick

Tanker Driver Full time, Seasonal Lerwick Start Date: Immediate We are recruiting a tanker driver in Lerwick to supply oil and LPG across the island. This role will require you to be flexible for travel and happy for overnight stays. The role entails the safe delivery of fuels to a variety of customers across the region. You will be experienced in the fuels industry and have no more than 6 points on your licence. Work Pattern:- Monday-Friday with Occasional weekend work Flexible start times Overnight stay allowance of £53 provided Job details – Delivering in a safe manner complying with all relevant legal and company procedures Driving at all times in a safe and courteous manner Be compliant in handling and transportation of hazardous materials Monitor and report wear and tear to vehicles Prevent and report damage Knowledge of regulations surrounding the working time directive and tachographs Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly Carry out start/end checks as per procedure Ensure vehicle loaded safely and correctly Basic level of numeracy and literacy, in order to complete work documentation Role Requirements:- Previous tanker experience preferred Valid LGV (HGV) driving license. CPC Card. Valid ADR
