Logistics Planning Engineer 12-month initial contract Based in Solihull £27 per hour (Inside IR35), 40 hours per week *Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.* About the company I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Solihull, who are seeking a Logistics Planning Engineer to join their team Job Description As Logistics Planning Engineer, your main responsibilities are: Support development of warehousing and logistics solutions Identifying process waste and proposing solutions Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Cost, Delivery Liaise with stakeholders and collaborate cross functionally Optimise end-to end processes & flow solutions Qualifications / Skills needed Proven Logistics Engineer or planner Broad knowledge of logistic engineering solutions, processes, systems and equipment In-plant logistics processes, lineside delivery methods, storage media, kitting strategies, AGVs Supporting data management, requirements gathering, solution and layout designs Ability to create logistics warehouse and lineside layouts Why work through Contechs?
