Information Technology Project Manager

Project Manager 12 months FTC - up to £72,500 PA Benefits Hybrid (2-3 days on-site in London) Our client is building a new, centralised project management function and is looking for a proactive Project Manager to join the team. This role will involve delivering a variety of projects across retail and IT, implementing best practices, and supporting the maturity of project management standards within the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Deliver a range of projects, primarily in IT and business transformation, ensuring successful implementation. Support the standardisation of project management processes, building a structured project lifecycle. Work with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and success criteria. Assist in the tendering process for new software systems and oversee implementation. Guide and mentor teams, ensuring best practices are followed throughout project delivery. Act as the bridge between IT and business functions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. What we’re looking for: 5 years of project management experience, preferably with change and IT/software system implementation projects. Strong understanding of Prince2 and waterfall methodologies. Experience managing multiple small projects simultaneously rather than a single large project. Confident, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to take initiative. Experience in business transformation or change projects is essential. Ability to work in a structured but slow-moving environment and drive successful outcomes.
