After 13 weeks of work, your salary increases to €18.25 per hour This includes 25 vacation days, holiday pay, ADV allowance, and a year-end bonus. There are also plenty of opportunities for growth. You need to be able to lift crates up to fifteen kilos. You’re also fine with frequently getting in and out of the delivery van. Also: You have transportation to get to Kanaaldijk 3 in Utrecht; You speak Dutch or English; Have a B driver’s license (stick shift). What will you do As a driver, you’ll hit the road to deliver groceries. You’ll work independently, so you get to decide which playlist is on repeat Your workday always starts at Kanaaldijk 3. Here, you’ll pick up your work van loaded with groceries. At the dispatch point, you’ll receive your route and the keys to your van. You’ll quickly check the load and inspect the van for any damage. All good? Time to hit the road At your first stop, you’ll use your Zebra (hand scanner) to find the crates for that address in the van. You’ll place each crate on the trolley, so you don’t have to carry them. Then, you’ll greet the customer with a smile and deliver the groceries to their door. You’ll check if the payment has been made. If not, you’ll take care of it using the mobile payment device. After that, you say goodbye and head to the next address Flexible hours from 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–23:00. You’re available for both shifts. You can work part-time or full-time from Monday to Sunday, with at least two Saturdays per month. Where will you work Albert Heijn is one of the most well-known supermarkets in the Netherlands.
