Field Services Engineer - UPS

Job Title: Field Service Engineer - UPS systems - AC power and we also have a DC power role Sponsorship is not offered for this role. Please only apply if you have the right to work within France. POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for service maintenance and mending interventions on Group materials at the customers. RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in the preparatory meetings Responsible for UPS systems New equipment installation Replacement of equipment without downtime Equipment wiring Intervention commissioning Commissioning equipment according to existing procedures Realise electrical, mechanical (isolation test) or functional (alarm, failover, ups) tests Perform electrical measurements (on site test sheet, electrical and design) Prepare the battery formatting and test the discharge of the battery Maintenance intervention Perform equipment maintenance as part of maintenance contracts Form maintenance technicians of customers companies Troubleshooting intervention Validate or correct the fault diagnosis performed by the support technical: cell Realize fault diagnosis. Realize mending. Refer technical support to troubleshooting pieces needs. Return of mission Stock management Present and validate the intervention report to the hierarchical superior. Oracle debriefing Sales Develop accepting orders. Make technical recommendations. Identify technical needs through the TIC (Commercial Information Transfer given to the after sales service commercial manager) Check spare parts inventory at the customer. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelors 2 years experience in electrotechnics engineering or maintenance • A minimum of 3 years’ experience • Electrical authorization type B2 • Battery empowerment type B2T • A adequate level in English required PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS To fulfill their responsibilities, the employee undertakes to be actively involved in the improvement of: • Protection of the environment (sorting waste, etc.) • Safety (wearing personal protective equipment, complying with instructions, etc.) • Working conditions (tidying up/storage, etc.) • be a point of alert by reporting malfunctions detected (dangerous situation, incident…) TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED • 90%
