Vet Nurse

About Us: Yass Valley Veterinary is seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to join our growing passionate and friendly team. We are looking for someone to join us on a Permanent Part-Time basis. We are a busy mixed practice vet consisting of 75% small animals and 25% large animals. Our primary hospital is in the township of Yass and our new purpose-built hospital is located in Murrumbateman. We dedicate one nurse to each vet which helps us provide the best standard of care to our patients, helps the wellbeing of our team, and allows our nurses to be very hands on and involved in all aspects of the veterinary industry. These include assisting in surgery, consultations, large animal out calls etc. Our Ideal Candidate Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) is desirable. Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred. Strong communication skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Highly motivated and honest with a great work ethic. Ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team. Flexible and adaptable in a team environment. A desire to work in a patient-focused, high standard of care practice.
