Job Description

The Program Manager, Natural Environment Programs leads and manages a team of technical specialists to deliver place-based, high-quality statutory environmental and biodiversity related assessment and advice in the context of complex and competing policy priorities. The Natural Environment Program's key focus is to identify and manage risks to biodiversity relating to infrastructure development and management of public land Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications Qualifications and expertise in planning, or natural resource management or a related environmental field. Experience in leading technical/knowledge-based teams. Demonstrated ability to apply environmental and biodiversity assessment processes, focused on biodiversity risk management, native vegetation policy and related legislation is desirable. This is a fixed term position available until 31 March 2026. The work location for this position is flexible within the Grampians Region with hybrid work arrangements available.
