Job Description

Introduction: verview: We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Community Connector to engage with local communities and help drive referrals for Parent Pathways programs. This role involves building strong relationships with community organizations, schools, social services, and other stakeholders to create opportunities for individuals to access career and parenting support services as well as managing a small caseload of participants. This role is initially a part time role of 22.6 hours worked between hours of 8:30am- 5:00pm on 3 day between Monday to Friday. This role has scope to go to full time in the future and will work across our Darwin sites footprint or Palmerston and Casuarina. Description: Key Responsibilities: Establish and maintain connections with local community groups, service providers, and key stakeholders to promote then Transition to work and Parent Pathways Programs Act as liaison between participants and program coordinators to ensure a seamless referral process Develop and deliver outreach initiatives, including community events, information sessions, and workshops to raise awareness of available services. Identify and engage with individuals in need of career transition or parenting support to drive program referrals. Track and report on referral outcomes, program participation, and feedback to improve services Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that participants receive the necessary support and guidance throughout their involvement in the programs. Manage a caseload of Parents to help them achieve their goals and over come their barriers Skills and Experiences: Key Skills & Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse range of people. Knowledge or experience in career development, employment services, or family support programs highly regarded. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple task and stakeholders simultaneously. Proactive and self motivated with a passion for community empowerment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle is essential. WWCC ochre card, ability to pass a police check Certificate III or enrolment to complete in Community Services or Employment Services.
