Medical Receptionist

The opportunity Sunraysia Radiology is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team in Mildura, VIC. This full-time role is an integral part of our busy healthcare practice, providing exceptional administrative and customer service support. Key responsibilities Greet and welcome patients, handle patient inquiries and bookings with professionalism and empathy Manage the patient flow, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring efficient patient check-in and check-out processes Provide administrative support to the medical team, such as managing correspondence, filing, and data entry Liaise with healthcare providers, insurers, and other external stakeholders as required Maintain a high level of confidentiality and data security at all times Contribute to the overall smooth operation of the medical practice What we're looking for At least 2 years' experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar customer service role in a healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure Proficient in using medical practice management software and standard office software Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality customer service and contributing to a positive team environment Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations would be an advantage What we offer At Sunraysia Radiology, we are committed to supporting our employees' wellbeing and professional development.
