CONCRETE BATCHER

CONCRETE PLANT - BATCHER HERVEY BAY READYMIX (a part of Barro Group) is seeking a Concrete Plant Batcher whose primary focus will involve batching and allocating concrete in accordance with quality standards and customer requirements. Position available at Hervey Bay, Qld Training provided - applicants who have a genuine desire to learn and possess the ability should apply. Attractive market competitive remuneration, commensurate with skills and experience The key responsibilities: Meet customer requirements by ensuring quality product delivered Accurate batching of orders utilising the Command Batch computer system Allocation of trucks ensuring timely concrete deliveries Undertake batch plant administration including stock control of raw materials General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance Follow company systems including working safely The key skills, experience and attributes: Knowledge or experience in computerised batching system is desirable but not essential - training provided An ability to multi task and at times work under pressure Possess an excellent customer service phone manner Current HR driver's licence would be an advantage Possess excellent time management and organisational skills Well-developed written and verbal communication skills A proven ability to work within a team environment The nature of our work requires you to work as part of a team and you will need to be flexible with how your hours are worked Monday to Saturday as there will be varying start and finish times.
