Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, Kangaroo Island Health Service Salary: AHA2 $58,709 to $63,154 p.a. (Pro-rata) / AHA3 $67,589 to $72,033 p.a. (Pro-rata) Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits Temporary Part-time position working 22.5 hours per week up to 17 March 2026 Please note that this position is multi-classified as either a AHA2 or AHA3. As a Part-time, temporary Allied Health Assistant - Kangaroo Island Health Service, you'll be working closely with our skilled Allied Health professionals, providing essential assistance to individuals seeking recovery, rehabilitation, and improved quality of life. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting with patient transfers, mobility aids, and exercise programs under the guidance of Allied Health professionals. - Supporting the delivery of therapy services, such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech pathology. - Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients during therapy sessions. - Maintaining accurate records and documentation. - Promoting patient independence and empowerment throughout their treatment journey. To excel in this role, you'll need a genuine passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in an allied health setting is desirable, but comprehensive training will be provided.
