About the Role: We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Electrical Fitter/Mechanic to join our dedicated team. This permanent, full-time role offers you the chance to expand your electrical trade knowledge while working on a variety of projects in the pump control and instrumentation field. Key Responsibilities: Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical motor control systems. Work with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), including programming and troubleshooting. Read and interpret electrical control schematics. Provide support with panel wiring and troubleshooting. Service and maintain stormwater, wastewater, and pump systems. Work with PLC, telemetry, and instrumentation systems. Ensure all electrical installations meet safety and industry standards. Skills & Qualifications: Current Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic License (Essential). Strong experience in electrical control systems, motor control, and Variable Speed Drives. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Experience with motor control iPad/iPhone skills and familiarity with modern mobile technologies. Experience with PLC, telemetry, and instrumentation systems is highly desirable. A manual car license is required. Desirable Experience: Prior knowledge of maintenance and fault finding of electrical motor control systems. Pump/motor experience Experience in industrial Electrical installations Experience in solar and submersible bore pump systems.
