Hospital Outreach Post-Suicidal Engagement (HOPE) Program Clinician Full Time Part Time Applications for 0.8 FTE will be accepted This role is classified as an RPN3, SW2, OT2 or Psych2 in line with the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement. The Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, forming part of Mildura Base Public Hospital, offers a range of inpatient and community-based services for people with mental illness in the Northern Mallee Region. About the Role: The HOPE Program has been developed to provide assertive integrated aftercare for consumers experiencing a suicidal crisis. Using a range of therapeutic approaches, HOPE clinicians will work with consumers to identify & build coping strategies to help reduce their risk of suicidality. HOPE clinicians work with consumers, in conjunction with Wellbeing Support Workers, to help address their identified areas psychosocial needs. The role is rostered in business hours, Monday to Friday. Full-time and/or part-time (0.8 FTE) applications would be considered. About You: Applicants will be experienced Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists or Psychologists currently eligible for membership/registration with the appropriate body. Candidates will be experienced and motivated Mental Health Clinicians with demonstrated knowledge, experience and expertise in the assessment, safety planning; treatment and support planning; and therapeutic interventions of consumers experiencing suicidality.
