About You This role is more than just pouring wine—it is about creating meaningful and memorable experiences for every guest. You will thrive in this position if you: Are committed to delivering premium customer service and always strive to exceed expectations. Have a passion for wine and hospitality, with experience in fine wine or food service. Engage confidently with guests, sharing the stories behind our wines and the Barossa region. Have strong sales skills, with the ability to anticipate customer preferences and encourage wine purchases and memberships. Are highly organised and able to balance attentive service in a fast-paced environment. Have experience with POS systems and managing reservations. Key Responsibilities Host engaging wine tastings, educating guests on our wines, family history, and the Barossa region. Foster long-term customer relationships by converting visitors into wine club members and returning customers. Maintain a welcoming and professional cellar door environment. Manage bookings, sales, and customer enquiries to ensure seamless service. Collaborate with a small, high-performing team to uphold our reputation for excellence. Availability This role requires availability on weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating roster. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Hold (or are willing to obtain) a Responsible Person (RP) Badge. Completion of Barossa Wine School Level 1 & 2 (or willingness to complete). Knowledge of Barossa subregions and wine styles. Experience in wine club or direct-to-consumer sales is highly desirable.
