WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Previous experience in the hire or construction industry or a similar role would be advantageous. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Genuine interest in machinery and equipment (training will be provided). Positive attitude and a collaborative team player. Proficiency in basic computer applications. Forklift and MR licence are an advantage Working Hours: Full-time position with 47.5 hours per week. Availability to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays and Sundays. About the role We are looking for an amazing Customer Service Assistant to join our constantly growing business based in our two locations in South Toowoomba. You will be responsible for but not limited to Greet and assist customers, providing exceptional service in all customer interactions. Maintain cleanliness and support smooth operation of the branch showroom, yard, and storage areas. Complete inspections, clean, maintain and service hire equipment to a high standard. Coordinate with operation and workshop team members to ensure timely preparation and availability of equipment. Instruct and demonstrate to customers on how to safely use our equipment. Pickup and deliver equipment from customer sites and between branches. Safely load and unload equipment. Process hire contracts, including paperwork and payment transactions. Provide detailed information on equipment usage, availability, and pricing. Assist with general tasks as needed.
