About the role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Potter Dental located in Ballarat Central. As a full-time/part-time Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth running of our dental practice. What you'll be doing Assisting dentists during patient examinations and procedures Preparing and sterilising equipment and instruments Maintaining accurate patient records and updating treatment plans Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring a positive patient experience Performing various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing inventory Adhering to all health, safety and infection control protocols What we're looking for Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and with D4W ( Dental for windows) Highly desirable Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilisation Certification or qualification in Dental Assisting or a related field A genuine passion for healthcare and the dental industry What we offer At Potter Dental, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
