What you’ll do: You may work in a variety of our retail outlets, providing exceptional service with a warm welcome. You’ll treat our guests and customers as individuals, offering tailored options and solutions with a resilient and can-do attitude. You’ll inform guests of all the amazing things to experience in the Cradle Mountain Area and across Tasmania. On a daily basis you will: Setup and reset the Cradle Mountain Wilderness Gallery with the ability to work independently when required. Ensure accurate processing of retail stock. Undertake general waiting and service in the Wilderness Gallery. General cleanliness of the Gallery and retail space. Ensure accurate processing of dockets, including cashiering duties. Willingness to assist with hosted event such as artist installs/removals, weddings, conferences and tour groups. This casual role offers shifts across 2-3 days per week, with opportunity to work additional shifts in other areas of the hotel dependant on your skills and experience. What you’ll bring: Passionate about art/photography and showcasing local businesses Retail sales experience A passion for Tasmania and the Cradle Mountain area An understanding of basic computer skill, computer program word, excel processing and phone applications Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate Possess a Do Food Safely Certificate of completion Australian driver’s license and own vehicle A reputation for providing excellent customer service, engaging in great conversations with our guests Good time management and an eye for detail An ability to follow direction related to daily tasks and expectations Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays Flexibility to work across other areas of the business if required What’s in it for you?
