Job Info Location: ANGASTON, SA Salary: Not Specified Job Type: Contract position | Full time position Job Description Location is Penrice, SA Ongoing Temp contract to go Perm $35-$40 p/h plus Super OT Overtime hours on offer On the job training We offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Dump Truck drivers to join our client at the Penrice Quarry. This role involves working the Day and Afternoon shifts, offering an attractive pay rate is $35Super ($40 when working Afternoon shift) with Plenty Overtime. We are looking for operators with experienced in operating excavators, front-end loaders (FEL), fixed plant crushers, and dump trucks. Your responsibilities will include hauling raw feed, loading road trucks, feeding the crushing and screening plant, and performing basic maintenance tasks. To thrive in this role, you should have a strong commitment to safety, enjoy collaborating with a small team, be adaptable and approachable, and take pride in delivering high-quality work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain high standards of safety, health, and environmental practices Complete pre-start checks on equipment Operate mobile plant and equipment efficiently and safely Perform basic housekeeping and maintenance of quarry equipment Conduct plant and process inspections QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES Proven experience operating heavy mobile equipment is essential Background in quarrying or mining operations, including familiarity with safety management systems, is essential Strong commitment to safety and quality Ability to work effectively within a small team and adapt to changing tasks SHIFT DETAILS Day shift role to move into Afternoon shift after 6 months $35 - $40 per hour plus Superannuation Opportunities for overtime Only applicants in Australia with Full Work Rights will be considered.
