An opportunity exists for a Curriculum Leaders to join the team at Cairns West State School and lead teaching and learning as Deputy Principal on a full-time temporary basis, for a period of 8 months unless otherwise determined. About the Role The Deputy Principal 'Teaching and Learning' leads a team responsible for curriculum delivery, pedagogy and moderation at Cairns West State School. Key Responsibilities: Lead curriculum at Cairns West State School; Line manage the T&L Team; Line manage P-2 staff; Manage daily staff absence and allocation of replacement staff; Manage operational systems (eq. non-contact); Deputise for the Principal when required; Review curriculum data; Lead whole school curriculum planning & delivery; Support P-2 behaviour.
