Based in the Western Cape, the company has a longstanding reputation among builders and developers and recently invested in a modern factory with expanded capacity and a lower environmental footprint. With a growth mindset and national expansion plans, they are now seeking a dedicated sales professional to grow their footprint in Gauteng. The Role: External Sales Representative This is a full-time, field-based sales position designed for a proactive, solutions-driven individual ready to grow our clients' market presence in Gauteng. Reporting remotely, you'll play a vital role in promoting products, building relationships with construction professionals, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales, logistics, and product delivery. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with site managers, developers, architects, and designers Conduct regular site visits and provide product support and solutions Promote products in retail stores, ensure adequate stock levels, and implement promotions Manage sales administration, update CRM/ERP systems, and maintain territory records Resolve on-site client issues and manage product deliveries with yard/logistics teams Stay current on product lines and the broader construction industry Drive new business while managing existing accounts in the Pretoria and Centurion region Execute in-store and on-site promotions to grow brand visibility Handle stock reconciliation and ensure a smooth sales-to-delivery workflow About You 2 years of sales experience in the construction or building materials industry High school diploma required; tertiary certificate advantageous Based in Pretoria or Centurion Valid South African driver's license Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Energetic, self-driven, and capable of working independently Comfortable multitasking between fieldwork, sales admin, and client service Basic computer literacy and experience with ERP/CRM systems Willingness to learn and grow through structured training
