You need a matric certificate (tertiary qualification a bonus!) and at least 46 years of experience in merchandising, ideally in a large company. A drivers licence and computer literacy are required, along with good communication, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills. You should also be comfortable working some weekends and taking initiative without constant supervision.
