Market Head of Business Continuity and Incident Management (BCIM) - Group Chief Operating Officer Join to apply for the Market Head of Business Continuity and Incident Management (BCIM) - Group Chief Operating Officer role at HSBC . Overview HSBC Digital Business Services plays a vital role within the Group, providing operational and technical support globally, enhancing customer service and efficiency through expertise and technology. We are seeking a high-caliber professional to lead as the Market Head of Business Continuity and Incident Management (BCIM) . Principal Responsibilities Business Continuity: Support local businesses, functions, and branches in analysis, planning, and exercises; manage annual business continuity programs; support the Business Resilience Steering Group with content, leadership, and stakeholder engagement. Major Incident Management: Ensure controls are in place for effective response; monitor threats; assist in incident invocation and management. Operational Resilience: Provide expertise to Business Service Owners; own BCIM deliverables; guide documentation and conduct reviews aligned with recovery objectives. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local regulations and HSBC standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with local market, regulators, and industry bodies. Leadership & Collaboration: Engage with regional teams and foster collaboration across HSBC entities. Operational Risk Management: Understand and manage operational risks considering market, legal, technological, and organizational changes. Minimum Requirements Experience in risk or control management Proven track record managing Business Continuity Programs Experience managing incidents and crisis exercises Understanding of regulatory requirements related to BC and Incident Management Professional certification in Business Continuity (preferred) Strong decision-making skills under pressure Experience in complex, regulated international organizations Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills Innovative thinking and high ethical standards Additional Information Join HSBC for opportunities to develop your career in a supportive, inclusive environment.
