Level of Responsibility Responsible for leading and executing the logistics national and cross border operation for the Company including 4 FIP, 2 DC, 2 RC and 1 BCD. Responsible for leading the way of Logistics coordinators (4) and executing the logistics and transportation annual budget (~80M USD) through the administration and control of the transportation suppliers. Functions and Responsibilities: • Execute logistics strategy in the Company dictated by Logistics Manager • Ensure transportation capacity to accomplish requirements of Plants, DCs and clients • Lead business reviews with carriers (~ 15), seeking continuous improvement, ensuring that safety, operational, environmental and quality needs are met • Ensure the logistics cost is within budget. • Ensure optimal operation through TMS platform, and execute any necessary change on the platform • Execute and ensure daily shipping program from all Mexico Plants, • Execute and ensure daily import program of Raw materials, components and spare parts • Attends safety, environmental and quality issues in Plants, lead a root cause analysis meeting, implement actions, and give follow-up to avoid occurrence. • Meeting with Plants to make agreements and strategies that results in an optimized operation. • Implement systems that leads to operational improvements. • Visit Plants, DCs, logistics warehouse, Cross docks and clients to identify opportunities and efficiencies to achieve an operational excellence that supports business. • Identify saving opportunities and implement CI projects. • Full knowledge of ISO 14001 process in base of the responsibilities of the position, understand the actions to do in case of environmental emergencies and stop any activity that impacts environment. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree (Logistics, Engineering, International business, administration). • 90% English. • 6 years of proven experience in logistics or transportation positions • Proficient in Excel. • Ability to analyze data and understand connections. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects. • Leadership ability and work under pression
