Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with over 4 years of experience to join our team. This position involves operating, setting up, programming, and editing CNC machines in a job shop environment using Mills and/or Lathes. The role requires proficiency with Fanuc and MasterCam, as well as the ability to read blueprints and use calipers and micrometers for tolerancing. The primary shift is from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime available. Responsibilities Operate, set up, program, and edit CNC machines. Utilize Mills and/or Lathes in a job shop environment. Use Fanuc and MasterCam to complete jobs. Apply G&M Code for machining processes. Read blueprints and use calipers and micrometers for precision tolerancing. Machine various materials including stainless steel, aluminum, carbon, and zinc, especially thin tubing material. Perform daily machine set-ups and tool changes. Maintain basic machine upkeep and tear-downs. Essential Skills Diploma or GED. At least 3 years of machining experience. Proficient in machine set-ups and basic program edits. Understanding of G&M code and familiarity with Fanuc or similar controls. Ability to read blueprints and maintain tolerances using micrometers and calipers. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with MasterCAM. Machining certifications or relevant schooling. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
