Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our small CNC department. The ideal candidate will operate Doosan, Pumas, and other CNC machines. Responsibilities Operate Doosan, Pumas, and other CNC machines. Work within a small CNC department. Follow blueprints and technical drawings to create precision parts. Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy. Program CNC machines using G-code and GibbsCAM. Perform routine maintenance on machinery. Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines. Essential Skills Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience. Proficiency with CNC machines, mills, lathes, and vertical mills. Strong understanding of G-code and GibbsCAM programming. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with Fanuc controls. Skilled in using calipers and other precision measuring tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with programming CNC machines. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Work Environment This position typically operates from 6am to 4:30pm, with some opportunities for overtime on weekdays with 12-hour shifts (4am-4:30pm or 6am-6:30pm). The work environment is small and collaborative, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for all team members. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
