Tool and Die Maker

Job Description Job Description Job Title: Tool and Die Maker Pay: $32 - $35/hr (depending on experience) Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00am to 3:00pm Must be flexible to work 10-hour shifts with varying start times Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our team. In this role, you will utilize a variety of tool room equipment to create high-quality, tight tolerance tooling that meets exact part specifications and company standards. This is an exciting opportunity to grow in a collaborative, temperature-controlled environment with the potential for permanent placement and full benefits. Key Responsibilities: Grind angles, radii, and other features on tooling to meet precise tolerances and quality standards. Read blueprints and utilize measuring devices to create or modify tooling according to job specifications. Inspect and maintain tools to ensure they are in good condition before storage. Repair or request replacement parts, tooling, or hardware as needed to maintain inventory. Log tooling in/out of the tool room system. Set up and operate various tool room equipment (grinders, milling machines, saws, etc.). Perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide, rates, ratios, percentages). Other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Progressive Die experience is a HUGE PLUS High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of tool making or die repair experience. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and precision handling of objects. Ability to follow directions, manage time effectively, and work independently or as part of a team. Solid interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written). Dependable and adaptable with excellent problem-solving abilities. Work Environment: Air-conditioned facility.
