Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and meticulous Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business and provide support to the field team. This is a dynamic position that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Receive and process material deliveries and accurately count and document materials received. • Load materials for subcontractors manually and with a forklift. Accurately count and document material given. • Receive unused material from subcontractors and accurately count and document material returned. • Keep a detailed log of warehouse inventory. • Pick up and deliver materials and supplies to and from vendors and subcontractors by driving a company vehicle. • Maintain company vehicles by completing preventative maintenance requirements, arranging for repairs, and making sure they have full gas tanks. • Organize materials in the warehouse for upcoming projects. • Return excess or unused material to the vendor for a refund or account credit. • Keep the warehouse clean and organized. • Assist the Project Coordinator with job checks as needed. Must be able to lift and climb ladder. You must be comfortable walking on a roof. Qualifications: • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. • Basic math skills required. • Valid driver's license required. • Must be insurable. • Experience driving a forklift preferred. • Basic computer skills preferred. • At least 6 months of experience at a warehouse position preferred. • Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to meet the needs of the team. • Must be detail-oriented. Paying close attention to detail is especially important. • Must be able to work quickly, accurately, and prioritize. • Must be punctual, dependable, accountable, and have self-discipline and integrity. • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
