1st Shift - Top Level Swiss CNC Set Up Machinist

Job Description Job Description Millennium Precision is seeking new Team members to help in our manufacturing operations and set up. We are a growing, employee focused, contract manufacturer of Precision Swiss style machined components for multiple markets. Current 1st shift positions are available, compensation based on experience. Swiss CNC Machine Setup Machinist Job Qualifications This is a hands-on position requiring five plus years of CNC programming, knowledge of G and M codes, feeds, speeds, surface finishes, cutting tool applications and machine set-up. Must possess the ability to work from design prints, calculate cycle times, select cutting tools, and program CNC codes on Swiss style lathes. Additionally, must be able to document processes, optimize the process and train/mentor operators and other set-up machinists. · Experience with Citizen CNC Swiss Machines preferred · Knowledge of advanced set up, machine speeds and feeds for materials and tooling selection · Understand how to read, write and edit G&M Codes. · Able to read and interpret drawing requirements, including the interpretation and the meaning of GD&T. · Able to use simple math to perform basic calculations. · Experience with the selection and use of the measuring tools required to inspect products. · Must be able to work independently but demonstrate the ability to work productively in a team environment. · Familiar with ISO requirements · Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Education: · Minimum Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent · Preferred: Two-year certificate in machine trades · Required: Experience in Swiss CNC machining · Set Up: Experience Required Benefits Package Includes: 100 % Company Paid Medical Insurance - (Anthem Gold) 100 % Company Paid Dental Insurance - (Delta Dental) Company Matched retirement plan Accelerated Earned Time-Paid Vacations Tool Purchase Program Clean, Bright, Safe, Enjoyable place to work!
