Job Description Job Description CHANGING PLACES MOVING is hiring EXPERIENCED 26' Non-CDL Straight Truck DRIVERS and HELPERS for our LOCAL moving crews Most importantly, we're looking for Good People with some industry background, or are trainable, to join our established crew. You will work with different crew members every day, so its important to get along with all personality types. WE HIRE SUNSHINE, Not Clouds! Essential Functions and Duties: Wrap household goods for transit Perform packing jobs as necessary Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle Assist as needed in loading trucks and/or containers for forward movement via interstate commerce Pre-trip inspections alongside drivers of all aspects of equipment including truck interior, straps, materials, walk-boards,etc. Perform work at warehouse as needed Other duties as assigned Working Conditions: Indoors and outdoors Lifting of objects up to 50 pounds Frequent squatting and bending Frequent use of stairs Drivers also move furniture, and need to be able to repetitively lift, bend and carry heavy items as needed. Drivers will also learn to load trucks and learn to lead crews with higher pay. Moving Experience is preferred, but will consider training. We're looking for people who have the following traits: Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members. Customer Service: Ability to provide excellent customer service Physical Strength: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects. We use only 26' Non-CDL Automatic Transmission Box Trucks. DRIVER/MOVERS Start $20 up to $22 with Experience, plus tips MOVERS Start $18 up to $20 with Experience, plus tips Tips are not guaranteed, but our clients are usually very generous daily Full Time currently works Monday to Saturday start time 7am. Other Full Time option is Monday to Friday, with Weekends/Holidays OFF. Part Time Work also available to fit your schedule. All local moving work, home every night. NOTE: MAXIMUM HIRING RADIUS OF 15 MILES FROM 4290 Hatchery Rd, Waterford MI. Start every day at our office. DRIVERS need Chauffeurs License and Good Driving Record to be Commercially Insurable, Minimum 21 Years Old, Pass Background Check, & must pass DOT Physical.
