Pastry Cook

Job Description Job Description Job Summary: We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Pastry Cook to join our kitchen team. You’ll assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries, baked goods, and desserts while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and consistency in a fast-paced environment. $18 hr Key Responsibilities: Prepare a variety of baked goods including pastries, cakes, cookies, tarts, breads, and plated desserts Follow recipes and plating guidelines as directed by the Pastry Chef Measure, mix, and bake ingredients according to established recipes Assist in decorating and finishing pastries to meet presentation standards Monitor quality, freshness, and consistency of all pastry items Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstation and equipment Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and finished products Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and ordering supplies as needed Support the team in daily prep and special event execution Qualifications: Previous pastry or baking experience preferred (culinary school a plus) Strong attention to detail and creativity in presentation Good understanding of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety Ability to work efficiently and stay organized under pressure Team player with strong communication skills Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Work Conditions: Fast-paced, high-volume kitchen Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Exposure to heat, cold, and kitchen equipment Company Description Nacho Madres Inc. is the corporation that houses the DBA: Maldon's Bistro a French/American restaurant.
