Job Description Job Description Job Title: Job Shop Machinist Pay & Shift $20-$28hr 1st Shift - Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm (OT on Fridays and some saturdays. Job Description Machinists will be working in a job shop environment making parts for industrial clients. The shop is equipped with multiple manual lathes and presses as well as 2 new Okuma CNC machines. The machinist will be responsible for setting up, changing out, and running machines, as well as reading blueprints to create specific parts. Responsibilities Set up, change out, and operate manual and CNC machines. Read and interpret blueprints to create specific parts. Operate manual lathes and presses. Ensure precision and quality in the machining process. Essential Skills Experience with CNC machining. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with machine setups and change outs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with manual machining is a plus. Familiarity with lathe and press machines. Tool and die skills. Why Work Here? Work Environment The job shop operates from Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime on Fridays and some Saturdays. The shop is equipped with multiple manual lathes, presses, and two new Okuma CNC machines, providing a dynamic and well-equipped work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ellabell, Georgia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
