The RN will work closely with a skilled surgical team across a variety of specialties with an emphasis on robotics and orthopedic cases. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive clinical team in a state-of-the-art facility. Job Duties: Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments prior to procedures Assist in positioning and prepping patients for surgery Circulate and/or scrub in during surgical procedures as needed Monitor patient vitals and response to anesthesia Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs for optimal patient care Document procedures, medications, and patient responses accurately in EPIC Assist with post-operative patient care and safe transport to recovery areas Maintain equipment and manage OR supplies Respond promptly to emergency situations during surgery Participate in rotating on-call schedule (weekdays and weekends) Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in high-acuity situations Requirements: License: Active WI or Compact RN License – required at submission Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience EMR: EPIC experience preferred First-Time Travelers: Accepted Local Candidates: Accepted at lower rate (within 50-mile radius) Preferred Skills: Robotics Orthopedics Sports Medicine Urology GYN Plastics ENT Ophthalmology Podiatry Spine Neurosurgery Schedule & On-Call: Shift: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM, 5x8s Block Scheduling: Not available On-Call: Rotating; 2 call teams during the week, 1 on weekends (24 hrs).
