Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/05/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit Shift times: 1845 - 0715; Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks Weekend Rotation: Required to work 2 Fridays, 2 Saturdays, 2 Sundays and 2 Mondays every 6-week schedule. The combination of the 2 Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays can be grouped together or worked separately as long as those eight (8) shifts occur within the 6-week period. Holiday requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays. (Unit requirement is the eve and day of every other holiday while contracted) Floating requirements: Pediatric CVICU, NICU, Neonatal PCU, Gen Peds – will float as needed Required: 2 years' experience, AHA BLS and AHA PALS, Epic EMR experience, and experience with: Artic Sun, EVDs, Camino device (ICP and temp monitoring device), Belmont Rapid Infuser, management of critical care vasoactive drip titration, management of invasive lines – ART lines/CVP, aseptic and sterile techniques, basic dressing changes, ventilator and trach management, HOFV management, oral/nasal suctioning, g-tube/j-tube management, feeding tubes, chest tubes, epidurals, PCAs, sedation and analgesic drip management, Foley insertion and management, Alaris & Medfusion pump management, bedside procedures with providers, discharge skills, CRRT experience About Premier Medical Staffing Services Premier Medical Staffing Services, LLC is a nationally expanding healthcare staffing firm for healthcare professionals and companies.
