About the Role: The Part Time Janitor plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors at our facility in Halla. This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks that ensure the overall hygiene and appearance of the premises. The janitor will work diligently to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, which directly impacts the comfort and satisfaction of all who enter the building. Additionally, this role involves routine inspections to identify areas that require attention, ensuring that all cleaning supplies are stocked and available. Ultimately, the janitor contributes significantly to the operational efficiency and positive image of our organization. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role preferred. Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. * Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums. Responsibilities: * Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of all areas within the facility. * Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained throughout the day. * Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety and environmental regulations. * Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify cleaning needs and report any maintenance issues. * Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when reordering is necessary. Skills: The required skills for this position include attention to detail and time management, which are essential for completing cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly. Strong communication skills are also important, as the janitor will need to interact with other staff members and report any issues that arise. Preferred skills such as knowledge of cleaning chemicals enhance the ability to maintain a safe and effective cleaning regimen. Physical stamina is necessary for performing the various tasks involved in this role, including lifting and moving equipment.
