We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join an expanding team in Basildon. This role is crucial for producing high-quality products that meet design and quality standards. Day-to-day of the role: Load materials and unload finished products from CNC machines. Operate CNC machines to cut, grind, or drill materials as required, adjusting speeds, cutter paths, and other settings to ensure optimal operation. Adhere to strict safety guidelines and company procedures, including operating standards and process documentation. Maintain accurate logs of production, equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs, and conduct machine inspections for mechanical or safety issues. Ensure machines are well-stocked with tools and materials to minimise downtime. Maintain a safety-focused environment to ensure the safety of oneself and others around operational machinery. Demonstrate flexibility to support production requirements during peak periods. Collaborate effectively with team members. Required Skills & Qualifications: Time-served CNC Machinist. Experience in CNC Milling or CNC Turning. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Proven experience working to high quality standards on precision components.
