Job Title: CSCS Steelfixer Location: Loughborough, UK Project: Civil Engineering Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Steelfixer to join a civil engineering project in Loughborough on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, bending, and installing steel reinforcement (rebar) in accordance with engineering drawings, ensuring structural integrity for concrete works. Key Responsibilities: - Read and interpret construction drawings to determine rebar requirements. - Cut, bend, and position steel bars using hand/power tools. - Secure rebar with wire, clips, or welding as needed. - Work closely with site teams to meet project deadlines. - Follow health & safety regulations at all times. Requirements: - Proven experience as a steelfixer in civil engineering/construction. - CSCS card (required). - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Strong teamwork and attention to detail. Contract Details: - Temporary position (duration to be confirmed). - Competitive hourly rate.
