Client Operations Manager - site performance and delivery Solihull - Manufacturing plant Fully Site based Monday to Friday day shifts Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Client Operations Manager to join our team. You will oversee and optimize client operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strong client relationships. Collaboration across departments to streamline processes, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement is key. Key Responsibilities: Client Management: Respond to client needs, expand relationships, and ensure exceptional service. Leadership: Support and develop on-site staff, including Site Managers and Envoys. Business Reviews: Deliver monthly business reviews with the client team. Profitability: Manage Profitability (P&L) within allocated accounts. Compliance: Ensure adherence to inventory, storage, delivery, and safety requirements. Client Engagement: Maintain professional relationships and provide timely follow-up. Business Development: Develop additional business opportunities with current and new clients. Continuous Improvement: Seek and implement process improvements. Training: Train employees on systems and best practices. Best Practices: Maintain and utilize best practices and trending analysis. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills & Experience: Technical Expertise: Knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, and ERP systems. Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. Sales Skills: Internal and external selling skills. Problem-Solving: Root cause and corrective action. Contractual Knowledge: Contractual interpretation. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Desirable Skills & Experience: Education: Associate’s degree or 3 years’ experience in leading teams. Certifications: Project management or procurement certification is desirable. Client Relationship: Experience in building long-term client relationships. Customer Service: Excellent follow-through and customer service skills. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities. Decision-Making: Sound business judgment and decision-making skills. Attitude: Positive, can-do attitude.
