Zachary Daniels Recruitment are pleased to be partnering with a well-known convenience store operator and wholesaler to find an enthusiastic and driven Retail Development Manager for the London and South East region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that's entering a phase of growth and exciting change. As a Retail Development Manager , you'll play a key role in supporting the expansion and success of independent retailers across this important region. What You'll Be Doing: Building Relationships & Driving Sales: As a Retail Development Manager , you will work closely with convenience retailers in your region to foster strong, long-lasting relationships, ensuring they realise their potential and achieve growth. Customer Support & Problem Solving: Act as the main point of contact for your customers, providing expert advice and support to resolve challenges they may face in-store. As a Retail Development Manager , your goal will be to find solutions that enhance the customer experience. Managing Your Schedule & Territory: Take responsibility for planning your visits and managing a schedule that allows you to provide excellent service to a wide range of retail customers across your region. Collaboration Across Teams: Liaise with internal departments such as IT, logistics, and operations to resolve any queries and ensure smooth interactions between the business and customers. Your ability to collaborate as a Retail Development Manager will be key to driving success. Driving Performance & Meeting KPIs: Own and manage your performance, ensuring you deliver against key performance indicators (KPIs) and help grow the business through effective sales strategies. Your role as a Retail Development Manager will involve consistently meeting and exceeding these targets. Who You Are: Experienced in FMCG Sales & Retail: You have a proven track record in driving commercial success, with experience in food retail or FMCG sales. You're able to build and nurture strategic partnerships, negotiate high-value agreements, and collaborate across teams to optimise revenue and growth as a Retail Development Manager . Strong Communicator: You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, from convenience store owners to senior business leaders. As a Retail Development Manager , you'll leverage these skills to create lasting relationships. Organised & Self-Motivated: Your time management and organisational skills are second to none. You're comfortable managing your workload independently and ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard. IT Proficient: You are confident using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other business tools to track performance, manage data, and create compelling presentations.
