Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our business operations. The role requires a strategic thinker with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgement and strong operational focus. Description Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and petty cash. Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortised and disposed of as appropriate. Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with approved external auditor. Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and petty cash. Oversee the bookkeeping function including the maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy. Oversee the production of monthly reports including reconciliations as well as financial statements and cash flow projections for use by management, as well as the Audit/Finance Committee and Board of Directors. Profile A successful Finance Manager should have: A degree in finance, accounting or a related field. Professional accounting designation (ACCA, CIMA). Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Proficiency in the use of software for financial management. Experience in the FMCG industry. Strong financial system and business administration understanding. Job Offer A competitive salary range of £40,500 to £49,500. Comprehensive benefits package (details to be confirmed).
