Senior Specification Technologist

Are you a Specification Technologist with experience of working with major UK retailers looking for a step-up? Senior Specification Technologist Bakery food products North Wales £35,000-40,000 Hybrid – 3 days WFO / 2 days WFH The role: As the Senior Specification Technologist, your role will involve completing product specifications for various retailers, customers, and our own brand across multiple accounts, including high-profile grocery chains and discount retailers. You will be responsible for managing and administering retailer systems, ensuring that all specifications and artwork meet the highest standards of accuracy and comply with deadlines. You will be responsible for approving supplier specifications and ensuring compliance with retailer/customer codes of practice and food legislation. In addition, you will support the NPD team with nutritional calculations and cross-checking documentation and contribute to pre and post-launch reviews and ensuring specifications meet KPIs. You: 12mths experience in Specification writing for a food manufacturer. knowledge of major UK retailer specification systems are essential. Strong understanding of retailer requirements and codes of practice. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
