This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to get involved in strategic conversations while still staying hands-on with the numbers. Working closely with the General Manager and reporting into the Group CFO (dotted line), you’ll have the chance to drive process improvements, improve visibility over margins and take ownership of financial reporting.Whether you're an experienced Finance Manager looking for more influence, or a confident Management Accountant ready to step up, this role offers variety, autonomy and clear progression. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for: Reviewing internal policies and processes, suggesting improvements for efficiency and clarity Working with the General Manager to drive improvements in margins, profitability and ROI Leading and developing a finance team of two staff members Taking ownership of monthly management accounts, including P&L, KPIs, budgeting and forecasting Monitoring stock and inventory reporting, ensuring accuracy and effective cost management Offering insights to support business decisions and contribute to financial strategy What you will need: Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Manager / Financial Controller / Finance Director / Head of Finance / Management Accountant / Senior Management Accountant To be a qualified accountant ( ACCA / CIMA / ACA) A background in manufacturing (ideally) You're either ready to step up into your first Finance Manager role or already experienced and looking for a fresh challenge You communicate effectively and can build strong relationships across the business, balancing commercial awareness with emotional intelligence You’re proactive, adaptable and not afraid to challenge the status quo constructively What you will get: Discretionary bonus Hybrid working (1 day from home, 4 in office) Enhanced salary sacrifice pension Annual pay increase 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Death in service benefit Enhanced maternity and paternity leave Summer BBQ and Christmas party Flexible hours – start early, finish early Free, onsite parking Cycle to work scheme If you would like to find out more about this role, please apply with your CV or LinkedIn PDF.
