Fire Safety Consultant

A specialist, boutique fire safety consultancy is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Consultant to join their collaborative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Fire Safety Consultant to work on complex projects requiring pragmatic and bespoke fire safety solutions. The Fire Safety Consultant's Role Your role as a Fire Safety Consultant will involve delivering high-quality Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and consultancy services across a diverse range of building archetypes, from heritage and architecturally significant properties to commercial, retail, and residential premises. Conducting retrospective fire strategies, fire safety management plans, fire safety audits, occupancy calculations, and reviews. Providing consultancy advice on fire safety matters, including site monitoring as part of Stage 5 development processes. Applying BS9999, BS9991, BS7974, PD 7974-6:2004, and other relevant codes of practice. Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and accountable persons to ensure best practice and compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022. The Fire Safety Consultant Will Have? Qualifcations: Degree educated ideally/ not essential CFPA Diploma Level 4/5 Diploma in Fire Safety Skills and other: Practical understanding of fire safety legislation and building regulations Extensive experience conducting FRAs, retrospective fire strategies, and fire safety audits Strong knowledge of Approved Documents, BS standards, and fire engineering principles Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client engagement In Return? £60,000 - £70,000 Remote working 25 days annual leave Bank holidays Combined employee pension contributions If you're a Fire Safety Consultancy looking to grow your career, please contact Lauryn Simpson at Brandon James.
