Job Description
Main responsibilities and tasks of the position Prepare the end of month file for companies (reconciliations and analyses) Monitor bank accounts and loans Produce various analysis reports Update weekly financial dashboards Monitor cash flows (accounts receivable and payable) Supervise the preparation of payroll and management of employee files Prepare periodic government declarations and remittances (DAS, GST/TVQ, T4/R1 etc.) Knowledge of American sales taxes (an asset) Prepare and record end-of-month entries Manage customer credit and monitor receipts of all customer accounts Prepare monthly and annual financial statements by carrying out account reconciliations Review the TECs of current projects Participate in taking inventories and analyze discrepancies Participate in the end of year processes for our 3 companies Participate in the implementation of a new ERP accounting system (Winter 2025) Participate in the budget process
