Chief accountant

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :Personnel management- Trains and directs financial analysts and accounting clerks in their duties.- Supervises and evaluates the performance of financial analysts and accounting clerks byproviding them with the necessary tools to accomplish their tasks.- Ensures that all team members work well with the various departments to maintain amaintain a good team spirit.Financial management- Reviews and analyzes branch financial statements prepared by financial analysts.- Leads financial analysts in the preparation of annual budgets.- Supervises the financial analyst's review of the semi-annual and year-end file.analyst.- Schedules physical inventories.- Plans schedules for auditors.- Manages cash and branch financing.- Follow-up on tax instalments (personal and corporate).- Schedules mailing of various documents to external parties.- Follows up monthly sales tax remittances for each legal entity.- Ensures application of sales and corporate tax laws by branches and financial analysts.and financial analysts.- Manages insurance coverage in collaboration with franchisees.- Performs other financial management analyses.- Makes recommendations to head office on various points raised in branches, on invoicing, invoicing, controls, etc. in relation to the services offered by the head office to the chain branches.- Authorizes various expensesCommunication of financial results- Sends and discusses financial results with franchisees and Branch FinancialManager, Retail Accounting.- Answers franchisees' financial questions.- Meet with franchisees occasionally with financial statements.
