Sr. Financial Analyst

Our high growth professional services client is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in Peterborough, Ontario. In this role, you will provide critical financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial systems and reporting processes.Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth financial planning and analysis to support organizational goals.- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.- Identify and assess financial risks, providing recommendations to mitigate potential impacts.- Perform cost and revenue analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.- Conduct investment analysis to evaluate potential opportunities and returns.- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting and decision-making.- Utilize data mining techniques to extract and analyze key financial data.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives.- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to address emerging business needs and opportunities.- Support the budgeting and capital management processes to optimize resource allocation.- CPA or MBA is a strong asset. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing, and financial reporting.- Expertise in financial modelling and data analysis techniques.- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.- Solid understanding of budgeting processes and capital management.- Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data to provide actionable insights.- Exceptional organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.- Familiarity with risk management practices and investment analysis.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
