Job Description
Our client a large Services Organization is looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in London, Ontario. In this role, you will oversee financial reporting, develop analytical models, and provide insights to drive informed decision-making. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to manage budgets, analyze costs, and ensure financial accuracy across projects.Responsibilities:- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.- Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.- Analyze financial data to assess current and future performance, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project cost accounting and reporting for redevelopment initiatives.- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to support financial operations.- Conduct variance analysis and prepare key performance indicator reports for management review.- Identify financial risks and opportunities, offering strategies to mitigate risks and optimize profitability.- Evaluate revenue streams, pricing strategies, and market trends to enhance revenue generation.- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to address specific business challenges or opportunities.- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.- Possess or be actively working toward an accounting designation or MBA. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial planning and analysis.- Strong preference for candidates coming directly from a Financial Planning and Analysis department or Public Accounting. - Advanced analytical skills, with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis tools.- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.- Proficient in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.- Capable of working independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
