Our expectations: Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, the Transportation Coordinator will plan merchandise deliveries and pickups to customers and suppliers, using the Transportation Management System (TMS). The incumbent will also process requests for transfers and semi-directs and will conduct follow-ups. Finally, they will provide unparalleled customer service to their internal and external clients. Your role:Plan delivery and pickup routes using a TMS for Eastern CanadaEnhance TMS usage by contributing to the improvement of its quality and processesManage trailer overflow, manage add-ons and prioritize loading scheduleInform customers and suppliers of transportation proceduresMaintain the delivery schedules in the systemEnsure that transportation operations are smoothlyProvide service to our customers and suppliersEnsure communication between shipping and receiving for transportation equipmentEnsure carriers are paid in the Freight Pay system ​The qualifications we are looking for:College degree in transportation and logisticsThree years of relevant transportation experienceKnowledge of Canadian geographyAbility to communicate effectively with various stakeholdersProficiency with the Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to resolve operational problemsCan-do attitude and results-driven approachTeam player attitudeExperience with Transportation Management Systems TMS (an important asset)Good logistical problem-solving skillsGood negotiation and communication skillsAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to work under pressure in a frequently changing environmentCustomer service experience7am to 3:30pm.
