Our Engineering Team plays a key role in keeping Dreamworld running smoothly, handling the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment. It’s a team full of Electricians, Mechanical Fitters, and other talented tradespeople dedicated to keeping the magic alive. What You’ll Do: Reporting to the Manager – Engineering Maintenance, you’ll be responsible for providing hands-on training and professional development opportunities to our Engineering Team. Your focus will be on delivering competency-based training, department inductions, and global best practice techniques to ensure our team stays at the top of their game. Plus, if you're looking for flexibility, we offer options for a condensed working week while still ensuring ride assessments and VOC’s are completed on time. Who We’re Looking For: A relevant trade qualification in a mechanical discipline, with at least 5 years of post-trade experience and a solid track record of high-quality workmanship A Training and Assessment (TAE) qualification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse team Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding tasks A current manual ‘C’ Class drivers licence Proficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate computer skills A Working at Heights qualification (or the ability to get one) is a big plus!
